Betty Jo Miller

Betty Jo Miller was born in Houston and raised in Sheldon, Texas.

Betty Jo has 20+ years of experience in medical billing, which served as a stepping stone in her insurance career as an Independent Broker/Agent.

 

In 1999, Betty Jo began her career working for a small foster agency group outside of Austin, Texas. While there, she started by billing the state Medicaid program for the foster kids in their care. She worked her way up by moving into other Billing management positions for Home Health Companies and Hospitals.

 

In 2009, Betty joined UTMB. She began in the Billing department and worked her way to a Medicare Audit Specialist as a liaison between the Compliance department and Government Auditing agencies. Her Marketing, Physician, and Medicare knowledge is a tremendous asset to her as a Medicare plan specialist.

After her first client appointment in October 2014, Betty Jo knew that helping and serving seniors in her community by being an Insurance Broker/ Agent was her natural calling. Today, she continues her full-time career as a Medicare Plan Specialist, working with Seniors to help them navigate the complex world of Medicare and their healthcare options.

​

On a personal note, Betty Jo Miller is Happily Married to Justin and has four kids: Don, Brandon, and Billy, who are grown, and the youngest, Mishyla Miller, who is loving every minute of Elementary School.

​

Betty Jo resides in Seabrook, Texas, and while she is happy to assist all Texans, she focuses her work on her current community and the community of Kingwood, where she raised the boys for several years.

​

Betty Jo looks forward to working with those who are New to Medicare as well as those who are already on a Medicare plan. She aims to stay busy helping the Senior community understand the options available and helping educate the public on how best to navigate their Medical coverage.
